Åse Nordanger NORDANGER ART

Åse Nordanger, is one of very few Wildlife Artists in Norway and her primary expression is through sculpture, but also graphic prints and etchings. A unice collection of bronzes are Nordangers experiences and interactions with the animals and wildlife that populate the forests and mountains around the village of Snåsa, her home in central Norway.

Nordanger is defined in her work by her ability to capture the essence of the creatures that she reproduces. Haveing only recently established herself in Norway after completing her studies in the United States, under the watchful eye of master sculptors, she has yet to leave her mark on the Scandinavian art scene. It is a great pleasure to see an artist with such a concentrated quality in her work - and
Immensely  impressive ability to repoduce the very nerve and essence of wild animals. Nordanger is one of the artists to keep a watchful eye on as she will undoubtably be a great contributor to the world of wildlife art.
